Immingham: 50MW Waste Biomass

Designed to intercept refuse derived fuel already exported from the port of Grimsby & Immingham, this plant will have zero net impact on traffic flows and, due to emission capture technology, will emit only harmless water vapour from its flue stack with absolutely no odour.

During the 3 year construction phase this plant will, at its peak, generate in excess of 200 jobs on site with a further 60 permanent positions created to operate the plant once complete.  This project represents the first RV Energy project.

Hull: 25MW wood biomass

This highly efficient combined heat and power plant (CHP) generates both electrical power and heat in the form of steam that can be piped to local industries.  Awaiting the award of a government "contract for difference", the Hull biomass plant will be a Real Ventures project, led by RV Energy CEO Ray Tucker.
